About The Play Lounge

The Play Lounge is a locally owned indoor play space in Bishop, California, created for children ages 0–8 and the adults who care for them. Our goal is to give children a safe, engaging place to play, explore, create, and socialize while parents and caregivers remain onsite.

We understand that families need dependable indoor activities, especially during extreme temperatures, smoky weather, and days when outdoor play is not practical. The Play Lounge was created to provide a comfortable space where children can enjoy imaginative play, creative activities, and age-appropriate entertainment throughout the year.

Our play areas include a fire truck playhouse, creative spaces, activities for younger children, and a video game room for children ages 5 and older. Parents and caregivers can relax, read, work, enjoy coffee, or connect with other families while supervising their children.

The Play Lounge is not a daycare or drop-off childcare facility. Parents and caregivers remain responsible for their children during their visit. We welcome outside food and drinks in designated areas, and families may continue playing throughout the day after admission, as long as space allows.

Located in the Starbucks Center at 905 N. Main Street in Bishop, The Play Lounge is proud to serve local families, neighboring communities, and visitors looking for a fun and welcoming place for young children.
